Sometimes, maybe most of the time, I'm having a conversation with my self. I feel in love with Bitcoin in 2013 and then again in 2019. It's not the most important thing.

It's certainly difficult to keep up with the tools. Then it becomes a full time job. I stepped back and now I focus on Christ and carpentry. The money comes when I need it and it might be sats, USD, or something else.

I build buildings, bridges, piers, docks and other things. I can't help others by selling Bitcoin because it's so convoluted. I'm interested but I also find as I get older that it's not a vision I can get behind anymore.

I certainly understand your feelings but after 2020 I realized how evil things were and how powerless I was with man's laws and reasoning. I started reading the Bible with a fresh perspective and I also went to the King James Version and there I realized that modern translations were omitting verses, words, ideas and were sugar coating the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic.

I realized, myself, how I assumed Biblical things and when I would research I would think, I don't remember reading this when I was younger.

Between prayer and study and listening to sermons I have found much joy! I think the advantage or disadvantage of having read many secular and other "religious" material has let me see that our King James Version and the origin texts are very special. It's difficult to keep your story straight so that alone makes the Bible amazing.

I also marvel at the way that I didn't understand something at all, and then, by grace, the same thing, became very clear once I understood an introduced concept of the past.

Adam and Eve, for instance, after the original sin tried to make clothes from plants to hide their shame but God made clothes from animal skins for them. This meant God killed animals and dressed them in front of Adam and Eve and showed them how their sin was a cruel and horrible act and that they would have to do the same in order to survive the world.

Genesis 3:7 KJV And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 3:21 KJV Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

This introduced the sin offering.

Next we have Cain and Able. Cain offers the fruit of the land and Able offers animals to the LORD. The Lord accepts Able's sacrifice and rejects Cain's. Next thing we know the vegan offering man is killing his brother because he is butt-hurt.

So many concepts and simple words that fall into a greater narrative that provides details, warts and all, of how man, then Jewish man, then Gentile man becomes saved by grace instead of punished by Law.

Eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge brought on confusion because man and his vanity will never be enough to survive. This is where I have to actually part from the Bitcoin vanity, too. It's also where I see the vanity of influencers. This includes myself.

I know that before the rapture those who are saved will be removed from earth. Then the tribulation will come and this is where Bitcoin will lead to vanity and suffering as does gold and silver and the pride of skill which will lead to slavery.

My attitude is and my belief is that God, through Jesus Christ, will give me Bitcoin, Fiat currency or skill or dumb luck to get what I need. Bitcoin was uncomplicated and easier in the past but now it is something I don't even bother trying to explain to others. The on and off ramps of trade make it impractical because of the barrier of AML/KYC. Yes the direct market is nice but you need either the western government areas or "stable coins" (barf) to exchange with others who trust USD.

Wallets come and go. When your keys get lost or you have a signing device break or you... So much work that only a hacker can enjoy the process. I've run Bitcoin core, lightning, several wallets and it's exhausting. Same as a religious appeal to works to get into heaven. No grace.

Jesus will fund your account when you need to pay. With Bitcoin I can imagine that the keys to abandoned wallets will be found if needed. More likely, the one who is saved and needs to pay a debt will get the money he or she needs easily by grace. Conversely if a Christian is inspired to do good work, not to get to heaven but because he's going to heaven, a Christian can work to make Bitcoin easier to use outside of the on and off ramps. But that Christian must put God first and only then will Bitcoin be good.

What dragged me kicking and screaming back to Jesus was the very fact of how corrupt everything is. Then I had to accept that I, too, was corrupt. Then I was convicted. Then I repeated. Then I was saved by believing that Jesus shed his blood for me.

Growing up I don't remember getting taught about the blood of Jesus. A lot of focus pocus but not much of an understanding of the blood sacrifice, the sin offering. The innocent perfect lamb that was so sweet and cute had to die and get slaughtered and bled to atone for man's sin. It was not supposed to be pretty and easy.

Anyway, I have been praying and thinking about this conversation. I'm sorry for being so defensive.

I have Jews, Muslims, Christians and Atheists in my family. So be it.

I grew up with a lot of Jews in the United States. I've even had very interesting spiritual dreams that led me to interesting places and people.

If you asked me 2 years ago if I liked Israel, the Country, I would have said, No.

But little more than a year ago I put my life back into the hands of Jesus Christ. Since then I have re-read the Bible, King James Version, specifically. I can find no reason to hate Jews. It's a blanket statement. I don't like the behavior of certain people but the fact is that I'm a dirty, rotten sinner. I'm no better than any other person.

I am saved, though. I'm saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I also pray multiple times a day and he answers my prayers. My wife nearly died last year and I prayed for her to regain her health and it happened. Maybe it was God's will and maybe not.

I can't be angry with you because I don't know you. I know nothing about you. There is no nuance with these communication platforms.

So I will just say that I will pray for your health, happiness and by grace your relationship with Jesus Christ to be a good one. I've been blessed and I want the same for you. From Adam and then Noah the three sons are all of our father's in some shape or form.

Or time is short. We've been on this planet about 6,000 years. As we move into the 7thI think that the rapture is upon us. Adam love nearly 1/6 of the time. Good loves the number 7.

Anyway, I was very disturbed this morning. I could not sleep. So much garbage in my head. I prayed and then went to build a floating dock. I felt better. God allowed me to have the job so that I could take care of my family.
