If you get a reply from a bridged user, you&#39;ll get a native reply notification just like any other account. If you get one from a non-bridged user, Bridgy will send you a DM with a link to the post on the other network (similar to the pic below), as well as a link to a special portal where you can like, boost, and reply to that post from your mirrored profile. It&#39;s not quite as good as native notifications, but it IS possible without needing to deal with manual crossposting or double-posting hell.<br/><br/>The other option there is checking out a WAFRN instance, since they can natively speak both ActivityPub and ATproto. Their architecture is completely different than Fedi/ActivityPub, as they want to replicate the &#34;global network&#34; feel of Twitter. Because of that, it&#39;s never going to have the same &#34;communities that can also talk to one another&#34; feel that Fedi has. <br/><br/>They DO now have a distributed network of &#34;personal data servers&#34;, or PDSs - including ones owned by the community - but that&#39;s not federation in the same sense as, say, Mastodon.
