It simply stops calculating after asking to download an inbetween map.<br/><br/>Let&#39;s say someone is planning a vacation trip from Copenhagen to Rome. Needing to download only the Copenhagen and Rome maps would make a huge difference in both space and download size compared to downloading every map along the route. Had Chrome had a useful extension framework, rather than their mostly useless &#34;web extensions&#34;, I would have switched a long time ago, just like many others did in that time period.<br/><br/>By the time Firefox reached version 56 I had 17 extensions installed, 15 of which were &#34;must have&#34;. Firefox 57 removed extension support, replacing it with the same web extensions that kept Chrome as not an option.<br/><br/>Breaking and removing anything that made Firefox better than Chrome, while ignoring user complaint and generally being hostile to users is what took Firefox from 40% to under 10% market share.<br/><br/>During the same time, from a user perspective, Google didn&#39;t improve Chrome much.
