not from my understanding. also thought splicing would have helped somehow but i've only got plebeian knowledge of these topics.
Things are not going well. First, the faucet started leaking, even though I replaced it just over a month ago. Then my wall-mounted Grohe thermostatic shower mixer started leaking too — more precisely, the shut-off cartridge started letting water through.
And both issues are very problematic. Finding a good, affordable faucet is almost impossible. Cheap Chinese products, sometimes with no warranty at all, have taken over the shelves while pretending to be European-made. There are problems with Grohe one too. Apart from the fact that their mixer is expensive in the first place, mine was also installed poorly, and I'm afraid that removing it could simply wreck the wall.
Of course, the most frustrating thing is that because of my disability I can't do anything myself, so every time I have to hire people for literally every little thing. And I can say that being a plumber these days is very profitable. 😒
