"Zap me," I said. "Your zap, your Nostr profile, and your message will appear live on the screen next to me."
Nostr can be a little shaky. This demo had every chance to fail.
And the best part?
It did.
My @nprofile…phgj wallet never received the payments. No zap came through. There I was, on stage, in front of a packed room at the biggest conference in the world, telling people to use Nostr... and it didn't work.
Honestly, it couldn't have been a better demonstration of how much work we still have to do.
Luckily, the room was full of Nostr believers. They didn't laugh at the failure. They understood exactly why it mattered.
