Yeah but what about that TLD 😮 oooooooo
Delayed graniteifcation (sounded funny in my head)
Same but for a few years shy of you. The phrase "use Linux if you don't value your free time" still makes me laugh as it's true but I enjoy it regardless and won't switch back. I look up those Unix rice things from time to time to see some new nice tool that solves what my half baked scripting tries and fails at
Opus figured out a nixos issue I was having for ages. Sonnet did well but Opus was able to get the final part relatively quickly. Now I got a sweet luks/btrfs/impermanence setup. Initially wanted to go this route to force myself to keep track of my desktop and various settings, plus to encourage backing up. I don't know if I'll use it as a daily driver but it is quite tidy so far. #nixos #claude
It's Barry's world and we're all just living in it
@nprofile…jejf damn the reply to reply in notification pane is 🙌
Cheers! I hope to get something more like your setup from the future but find it fun as it is currently. 🍻
Mind telling which you think should be listed?
Off topic. For Claude, do you know if people are using pay as you go Platform API or Claude Max? My Platform API costs are more than the Max plan, wondering if the Max plan is better value?

very cool!

Fediverse uses boost. It's like trying to define a word without using it in the definition. I say google it on other search engines, as I use the term retweet on her and fedi
Same here. Finally clearing out the shelved weekend projects 🤓
Iabsentmindedly run a public relay (not blossom), not thinking about that angle of abuse at all! I'll likely put them into whitelisted mode to not have to deal with that criminality. Until a better method exists to stop the propagation of that at the relay level.
Yes. Like those signing with nostr logins that allow amber to also be used
Need pointers on the feature of logging into websites using the nostr identity. Is there a NIP for that? Any framework or libs recommended? Save me time please 😭 #asknostr
Setting up an anon dnscrypt relay for you people to use. Will put it up in a day or two. Does anyone use that? #asknostr
Locked myself out of a a server, no fallback, rookie mistake. Spent rest of day fixing up ansible playbooks so I don't have to care about that. Wipe and start again. Not using contaners due to hardware constraints and heterogeneous boxes rules out easy nixos usage, so ansible it is.
Running this now on wss://nostr.dontyou.click

Draft. Private please, otherwise I would just post it if ppl can see already
5 guys but it's so expensive. Credit due to McDonald's triple cheeseburger which lives in the shadow of the Big Mac and therefore severely underrated
You are right. Tested against my own to confirm.
What's the source of image. Are these favicon.ico?
I see someone watched the latest pewdiepie video
Those numbers make sense. On twitter I follow up towards 1000 people and even then sometimes content in my follows (not fyp) can seem stale. Nostr is quite stale. Content is better on the fediverse even (bigger numbers & differentiated ). I like nostr because I like the tech and philosophy that the tech brings. People are chill. I'm not even into crypto much at all. So being part of the problem I'll have to address is posting more content other than my news bots lol. I'm working on a project which I plan to use nostr as the identity layer for and would hate to see it drop off the face of the earth.
Trailing n month window, whatever is sustainable. Most of my usage is weighted towards the more recent. Perhaps volunteers can pull off a fixed amount that fall outside that window (fixed so they know how much it'll cost etc). Then users want historical search for that time they can be pointed that way. Not clean but maybe doable.
Just yesterday it seemed like 0.3 now we're 0.9, the problem is now about catching up by reading release notes or looking around for new features 🤓
Very pretty, good job man
Nice work! YOOOOINK I'm stealing using the bookmarks as a scoring signal in my DVM mini project.
How many relays do people usually run? I see guides saying 2-4?
So I write to the outbox, people use that to read my notes. I read notes tagged with me on the inbox? The reason why this confuses me is I have my own personal array which seems to never show my notes as above.
Brilliant work!
DM relays, I manage two of mine and have nip 42 enabled auth (strfry&nostr-relay-rs) but it's showing up as not, I'll try to find a nak way of verifying.
If it could add an explainer or best practices for inbox/outbox so I could finally understand which one is read/write 😭
By the way the spammer is I. With some failed DM stuff.
My client is showing that part linked and not plaintext, it should be http : // hash dot onion
Thanks! Slowly learning more. I'm used to self hosting so it's no big deal... so far. Also thank you very much for running your relay for as long as you have, it's always in my relay list. One final thanks for creating that strfry write policy plugin! 🙌
Default one for me (orange, solarized?)
@nprofile…6k4n using chief on this to make it a personal only relay for the time being. Pretty sure that's what's to get strfry to accept just my pubkey.

Running something special and experimental at wss://relaystg.dontyou.click
Now running strfry at wss://nostr.dontyou.click @npub1yxp…qud4
I have trouble with finding people or topics to follow. Feels pretty sparse when you join. Compared to twitter where you are on boarded with topics or people to follow and then the algo quickly puts you in with other likeminded people. Any tips on how to find this on nostr? I love the idea of it more than "it"
Why is this decentralized app so much faster than twitter/x?
