Any of you running Hermes agent to do 'real' work? Like not just to play around #asknostr
At this point i'm thinking that the way it's implemented there is no real 'multi-agent' implementation and it's effectively the same as booting different hermes installs. Actually that way might be more elegant
Last week i accidentally listened to an AI generated podcast episode. After making fun of my colleague a few weeks earlier I changed my mind. It's so information dense, and a great way to learn about a topic.

Should i feel dirty now?
Working on making asknostr.site open-source. Not because i think many people will run it themselves but just because it feels right.
I want to have a one-click install that creates the whole stack + nostr relay.
In this 'single-relay' node it can run internally in a company network and act as an internal stackoverflow/quoras

This post (from 2023)
https://asknostr.site/question/note1y434v7u96zkj35kktyj7aj888r63va7qvc6h6ww6pm78fsjrkzvs6yleaa has a lot of unsolved truths
Been digging into Nostr retention stats from https://stats.andotherstuff.org/
Nostr cohorts look like this:
- Week 1 retention: ~5–10%
- By Week 4: ~0–3%
This pretty much states that hardly anyone stays around....
For reference: a16z’s benchmarks for consumer social networks say:
- “OK” apps: 40%+ Week 1, 20%+ Week 4
- “Great” apps: 75% Week 1, 50%+ Week 4
So yes, our retention is objectively bad right now — and that’s the point of this post. How can we improve retention?
If we want to make this thing work every nostr app/developer needs to obsess over those retention cohorts

You know this was said in Lex Friedman / Peter Openclaw interview? I liked that analogy :)
Too bad a lot of broken links/404 pages. Maybe too much traffic
Apple silicon only one choice…
Every day i try to make asknostr.site better. 55 second video of what's new:
- 0:0 to 0:10: Multi-Profile. Better UX on mobile
- 0:10 to 0:30: Filter by followers/mute list. Improved filter UX
- 0:30 to 0:40: Upvote answer/Mark winning answer
- 0:40 to 0:50: Leaderboard/Top zappers. Marking who you follow and mute
- 0:50 to 0:55: Detail profile page

Try it https://asknostr.site
Seriously starting to love #amethyst as a calm way to browse nostr on my daylight reader. Great work @nprofile…2lxp ❤️
Nice. But dmg for Mac (M4) doesn't work. Reported same issue for 0.3.7
Rolling out follow&mute lists on asknostr.site
Improving content discovery (search, classification, ....)
So much to do. But in video land i think Primal is the only one i can think of https://www.youtube.com/@primalapp

Working on mute-lists/follow lists in asknostr.site
- filter answers/questions to display your follows only
- apply your mutes to the site
- displaying who you're following/have muted throughout the site
Screenshot. Not ready for deployment yet as i'm trying to make sure the server is also aware of the latest kind:10000 and kind:3 notes

Haven't figured out how i'll approach encrypted mutes yet but we'll cross that bridge when we get there :)
This is awesome! I love it.
I see that Pensieve is OSS but couldn't find anything on the stats website. Do you welcome contributions to that website too?
Well not entirely if a large portion of those are automated profiles.
I'd love to see retention numbers for 'real' users (whatever that is)
Came here to say lists, but the answer was already there :-)
Uhu. Doesn't work well.
Switched to X21 and Yakihonne as daily driver. Account switching is great there!

Been using it as a daily driver in x21/yakihonne and works great!
Few improvements shipped to https://asknostr.site
- Question filters now available on all devices with a panel (screen below) on mobile
- Improved profile display when hovering avatars/names
- Displayed most recent kind:0 data on profiles
- Fixed bug where hitting enter on logging in (remote signers/nsec) didn't submit
Keep on building nostr!

I know it's not the best answer, but i've given up on NIP-07. The extensions are all limiting or in some cases broken. No mobile support, etc...
Switch to remote signers! It's a one click install with signet https://github.com/Letdown2491/signet/tree/main and much better experience!
Don't think this exists, but based on those requirements i would recommend taking a at vibe-coding it. Doesn't feel that hard as it's just generating/signing/broadcasting an event for every person in a spreadsheet.
On the latest version now. Minor bugs/improvements i am storing in a log to share late.
Well deserved break @nprofile…yuyg
I would try dokploy. It's one command on new vps. After that you can install haven using docker-compose

It feels great. So much more I can accomplish. Still enjoy writing code too
