I bought a mini rack 3 days ago. Assembled it. But have not moved anything into it yet. 😂
So I now just have a rack and everything still looks the same.
It’s my weekend project though.
This is so simple and made in 7 minutes that most devs don't even think about it.
People don’t like to interact with strangers. They generally just want to interact with their families and friends, share things with them.
Friends and families no longer use “social media” they just use group chats now. WhatsApp probably being the largest.
That’s why even though we all have nostr/twitter etc. we all have group chats for our friends and families.
Social media apps right now mostly behave like Netflix or HBO etc. where the power dynamics are entertainer and viewer.
Twitter feels loud, but it’s really small, and mostly have the same power dynamics of entertainer and viewer.

You don't want just the basics, you want to be able to read your timeline. And even if it just had a timeline, supporting every event kind that's out in the wild today would make the client more than just basic.
Right, for whatever reason, keeps crashing for me. And zaps to Coinos are dead. The curser jumps when typing and hitting enter at the end. Hashtaging on Damus acts weird, somewhat works.
It’s my fav Client. But I just wish those silly bugs are gone.

As some of you may have noticed, the 1.5.1 update for #NoorNote is out:
• No new features at all.
• Lots of stability improvements under the hood.
• Overall performance has been improved across the board. Posting and replying feel snappier. Timeline refreshes and mute or NSFW toggles now update instantly instead of rerendering everything. Additional pages load faster. Reply and like counters appear all at once. Login is smoother, with fewer background requests. Mini avatars load as you scroll.
• Feeds now recover automatically after sleep, switching networks, or spending a long time in the background, so you no longer get an empty timeline after opening your laptop. Posts that fail because you are offline or a relay is down are queued and sent automatically once you are back online, with their original timestamp. Gaps after long absences are filled in completely instead of being silently skipped. The reaction flicker on double tap is gone, and long sessions no longer gradually slow down.
• And my favorite part: instant reactions and zap indicators. When you have a note open and like it or zap it, your emoji or the zap pill appears under the note immediately. No reload needed.
And there are plenty of other improvements under the hood too. This was originally supposed to be version 1.5.0, but I spotted a bug right after the release and quickly followed up with the 1.5.1 fix. Please let me know if you find any bugs.

"Stiegler coins the term “hypersynchronization” for something that is close to what Sampson’s online somnabulism describes: the process of how digital algorithms synchronize the attention and memory of millions of individual to themselves, forcing them to consume the same media and follow the same trends.
