Fiat numbs the pain. Bitcoin removes the disease.
1. You're truly sovereign with it, it belongs to you (the desktop and the mobile version) and you're not just dependent on the web app (and therefore on me keeping it running). NoorNote is available for multiple platforms, desktop, mobile, and web.

4. I love implementing direct user requests, just did again 2 of those today. Not a lot of devs do that. People just send me a DM and want some weird use case to be accounted for and I just do it (most of the time, as far as possible).
I just learned (the hard way) that eating fresh pineapples with yogurt taste disgusting. Because pineapple has an enzyme called bromelain that messes up with the proteins in the yogurt and breaks them down. 🤢🤮

Can't stand folks on here saying nostr is dead and complaining it hasn't reached mass adoption or whatever.
It's like watching someone complain in 1973 that ARPANET hasn't replaced the television. Not only are your expectations far removed from reality, you still don't even know what function nostr is actually trying to serve because you still haven't done the work in trying to grok what the Nostr protocol even is.
Take time to reflect and study first. Maybe start asking yourself why you are even here in the first place.
Very clear that they're still building from a LSM framework/paradigm. A protocol is so much more than UX.

If you think about it, it makes sense that nostr would first attract the people on the fringes. I mean, think about the people that first started using the internet, or the ones first in Bitcoin. Not normal people, outcasts even. I see nostr adoption happening in the same way.

This is still aligned with his views.
I'm really into this completely sovereign production chain. From harvested cotton all the way to the individual pieces of clothing. Invaluable, because of all the middlemen and meddlers we have in every area nowadays. And it starts with the fiat system, where you can barely buy your own fertile land anymore, and even if you can, there are legal regulations (at least in the West) that want to tell you what you're allowed to grow and what not.

Tonight: my first attempt at a Bitcoin Core PR.
i'm not that tech savy yet. let me get the home server setup first. my main reason for Notesnook was to get off Google Docs and bc Obsidian was too complex for me over a year ago. getting a more efficient set up come next.
Notesnook is a muslim dev team btw.
I have nothing against the project. I used it back when it was called Sprout.
We love new things. I just find our community a little cute.
The thing is, since it's all text and md files, syncing is really easy to do independent of any app with a script that uses Unison. That's how I sync all my machines now without going through a third party server.
i have sync confirgured between macOS, iOS, GraphenOS, and Linux (Mint currently, want to switch to something better soon).
