lol so why bother trying!
I want iOS please. Ignore the fud
Yo @npub10hp…dxkr not sure if this is a maple proxy instability issue or a goose agent issue. I’ve tried to stand up my agent using a local proxy and it looked like we were getting somewhere it started to work on generating content, but it is now like pulling teeth. Keep running into “Server error: Unknown server error.” Wasting time and my account credits, any suggestions? A different setup maybe?
I just finished reading 'Entangled Life' by Merlin Sheldrake and gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Yep keep talking myself back off the ledge. I think the future lies with smaller less compute intensive (or compute efficient) local models for basic stuff and then reach out when you need heavy compute.
Glad to hear you’re doing well!!
Yup couldn’t agree more. Next step though is using them yourself and building deepagents which include skills when instantiated. Sometimes you want limited scope specialists not cursor/opencode/claude skill hungry generalists.
It concerns pretty damn cool tbh
Looks epic will walk through the upgrade for beta this weekend @npub126n…e9ll
Glad to hear that she and the baby are stable. Sounds like an absolute nightmare of a day. Wishing you all the best and hope she makes a full recovery.

Love that terrier indifference to the camera. I know it well
I can’t tell if you live in Cumbria or just love the place. These photos are not how it looks right now!! Soon though, very soon.
Anyway, gm ☕️

Haha, 100% true. On the flipside I work in an industry where documentation was quite a regulatory burden for teams in pre-Agent times. Now I just see the clear pathway to obsolescence. So much subject area knowledge and domain expertise already written down, makes building skills/tools package for agents internally so easy…this is not priced in yet.
Yeah I can be a tricky one to get going. My starter is about 14-15years old now. How I’ve not killed it I don’t know, it is pretty resilient though, tough love.
Made a loaf of sourdough to go with it in the morning
Hands down the best Strategic Preservist in Bitcoin. Found on #nostr, shipped #anon, paid with freedom money (#bitcoin).

For me it feels more like tooling catching up with dreams/ideas. For a long time we talked about semi-autonomous agents but very few people changed tools together to achieve it. Openclaw democratises the agent in a box model.
I’m always so skeptical of tv adaptations. They either skip a bunch of stuff or cram everything in and end up quitting halfway through a season. Let us hope they don’t fuck it up…
This is twice I’ve said this sentence today both times with pictures of DJT in the note.

Do you need a burner phone, an you not just use your normal phone with an e-sim?
@npub1qny…95gx always recommending https://silent.link/
Good thing about nostr is that you don’t have to send everyone to the same place. Maybe just ask what kind of socials they are looking to and send them to the most appropriate.
More noise, harder to find signal.
Old England
The Waterboys
A man looks up on a yellow sky
and the rain turns to rust in his eye
rumours of his health are lies
old england is dying
his clothes are dirty shade of blue
and his ancient shoes worn through
he steals from me and he lies to you
old england is dying
still he sings an empires song
and still he keeps his beliefs strong
and he sticks his flag where it all belongs
old england is dying
you're asking what makes me sigh now
what it is makes me shudder so
well
I just FREEZE in the wind
and I'm numb from the pummeling of the snow
that falls from high in yellow skies
where the well loved flag of england flies
Where the homes are warm and the mothers sigh
where comedians laugh and babies cry
where criminals are televised politicians fraternized
journalists are dignified and everyone is civilised
and children stare with heroin eyes, heroin eyes, heroin eyes
Old England!
evening has fallen
the swans are singing
the last of Sundays bells is ringing
the wind in the trees is sighing
and old england is dying

Agreed so let us loop back to your question (paraphrasing). What will the world look like when code is cheap.
Many finished products but some still finished better than others by people who care about making a good product that fits the users needs. Just because you don’t care about the craftsmanship doesn’t mean the end product doesn’t reflect the creators attention to detail or quality. To me that will always be the signal.
AI is a tool and some will use it better than others. The signal will be there in the noise of all the crap that doesn’t appeal to you as an individual
Subjective question. Not possible to answer that. Do your personal preference/wants/tastes reflect that of everyone around you?
Maybe in Bitcoin terms, is the market made up a collection of individuals all making their own personal decisions or just mindlessly drones who all think alike so it is possible to centrally plan them all from one set of options?
Depends who is listening. Tbh people will always want to craft things and care about their craft. The world with very cheap generated AI code doesn’t change this but it does amplify the noise.
After the printing press can along artists didn’t stop painting but the market did get tons of prints of paintings for people to hang up on their walls. It democratised the art some but didn’t detract from the quality work because they were never in competition. Perhaps the same can be true for software.
Dude, what about bring your own DB for managing personal finances. So if you’re the sort of person who like to track their annual expenses inc things like insurance, utilities and also track the companies and renewals. Sure you could use an excel file but what is someone build a nifty nostr app to do this and you just plug your db into the background, be pretty handy.
The wife threw out his man draw and he is determined to get all the stuff back. Forget that he lost that Nokia 3210 about 20 years ago…you never know when you may need the charger cable again!!
