I went to a game at Tropicana field yesterday evening. The Rays beat the Yankees. It was a great game.
The tickets for the upper level were not even sold. The lower level was full. The demand is poor (sad).
I have always enjoyed watching games at The Trop.

I'm also old school, but I think I am going to appreciate the challenges. They have implemented it nicely. The call has to be made within 2 seconds by the batter, catcher, or pitcher (?). The AI/video system immediately gives the call. With only two challenges per game and no assistance from the dugout or other players it could be a positive change. I also like the increased speed of the game given the pitch clock.

Republicans control the House, the Senate, the Executive Branch, and arguably the Supreme Court….
But somehow, the partial government shutdown is the democrats fault?
63% of Americans, ~50% of democrats want the SAVE act passed, the republicans can’t get it done.
The bank lobby has destroyed any chance of meaningful bitcoin legislation while our developers are being imprisoned.
We are involved in another War.
Those are just a few examples.
Our government has failed the people on ALL levels.
The democrats want MORE government. Why would we want more of this absolute incompetence?
There is plenty of blame to go around, but at some point, the good people in our country must stand up and fight for the future.
Our children need us. I’m sure we could put many of our differences aside and find a way forward.

With the help of Claude, I am now running my own nostr relay.
Nostr pairs nicely with bitcoin.

Thank you for not buying. I had to move money from my old 401k into unchained so I could secure real bitcoin within a pre tax retirement plan. The process took 3 weeks.
I have completed the roll over and have the bitcoin in self custody. You can resume buying, or selling, but I’m happy the price stayed sub 90k while the money was in transit.

The ETFs and banks are good for bitcoin. A means of distribution; a 3rd scaling layer.
However, we must never forget WHY bitcoin has any value to begin with. How was Bitcoin able to go from zero to a 2 trillion dollar asset class? What features ultimately forced the banks and traditional finance into submission? From a talk forum to Main Street.
The psychopaths writing code, running nodes, contributing to rough consensus, promoting self custody, educating, home mining, creating circular economies…
These are the protectors of Bitcoin. If we ever lose them, the ETFs won’t matter because Bitcoin will wither away.
Everybody, especially children, wants to “fit in.” We are a social species.
But, there is no need to try and be “like everybody else.”
Our differences make the world more beautiful and interesting.

Unchained allows you to transfer the funds into an IRA, purchase bitcoin, and transfer to self custody. The funds are technically still within the IRA, unless you send out of the multisig.
The traditional financial system is no comparison to using bitcoin.
I am rolling over my 401k to
@unchained
1) Sell MSTR in the self directed brokerage
2) Wait two days for trade to clear
3) Send funds from SDB to main 401k account
4) Wait two days for this to clear
5) Request a check which must be mailed to me
personally, then to unchained (Fortis)
6) Wait 4 days for check to process
7) Finally, buy bitcoin and the pain will be over
I will be much happier when the funds are secured with unchained 2/3 MS
For those two businesses, for transparency to the partners, the bitcoin are held within those two addresses.
At some point, I will likely break the UTXOs and move to different addresses.
For now, I want it to be public. I want people to understand businesses can easily self custody.
Publishing the above puts myself at risk of a wrench attack and chain surveillance. A risk I was willing to take.
