The writing made it extremely hard to understand for me. That basically killed in me any desire to ever read a book. It wasn't until I was in my late teens that I'd pick up a book (Ender's Game) and read it for enjoyment. Alhamdulilah. \n\nIt's like the school system was purposely designed to kill the child's motivation for reading.\n\nOne of the main reasons why I homeschool my kids. I don't want them growing up hating to learn new things. \n\n"}
