I'm relying on these people to not get new phones or even understand the importance of what I'm asking of them. I just don't see the safety here. Maybe most people are storing their phone and Bitkey device separately (in ways they won't degrade or break) but I'm skeptical. Is it better than ColdCard was? Probably. But my fear is that all the podcasts are just doing the same shit all over again in a slightly different way. Bitkey! It's the best! It's the safest! Maybe this is fine for low sat holdings but I think Luke Broyles made some good points in his recent custody video.
