A few days ago a report came out by our public health agency after which they warned to avoid eggs produced by people who keep chickens as a hobby because they contain large amounts of PFAS.&#xA;&#xA;I have fully read the report but don&#39;t hsve enough knowledge to detect potential flaws.&#xA;&#xA;Concerns:&#xA;&#xA;- No place in the country is apparently safe.&#xA;- Apparently eating 1 egg a day already crosses safety margins (set by the EU). (I eat at least 5 a day)&#xA;- Commercially produced eggs are safe.&#xA;&#xA;Why I am skeptical and questions that i have:&#xA;&#xA;- They were mostly wrong with their covid spread modelling and vaccine advice.&#xA;- How come pasture foraging chickens on commercial farms seem to be fine?&#xA;- Are these safety limits overblown? I know nothing about PFAS and what safe limits are and what risks they pose when consumed in larger quantities?&#xA;- Do you think i should avoid eating eggs by hobbyists?&#xA;- Am i being psy-oped?&#xA;&#xA;Article (full report is at the bottom): https://www.rivm.nl/en/news/rivm-advises-against-eating-home-produced-eggs&#xA;&#xA;</html></oembed>
