PLEASE qualify that statement, I feel like I&#39;m going crazy. You aren&#39;t using domain fronting or other crazy black magic techniques, so I actually have to CONTROL the server in question.&#xA;&#xA;If I have to control the server then why the fuck would I EVER use Pubkey??? Sounds like it&#39;s just microblogging with all the cost and difficulty of regular blogging. You realize that Twitter and Bluesky and ActivityPub and Nostr are all free and all have essentially 100% uptime, right? Do you realize that self-hosting and using a VPS are both HUGE commitments just to join a platform, right? You realize that most platforms don&#39;t require EITHER of those, right?&#xA;&#xA;Shit, I could also create a single-user ActivityPub instance if I wanted to. But I DON&#39;T want to. That&#39;s why I&#39;m using a MICRO-blogging platform.&#xA;&#xA;Please tell me you have a solution for the 99% of people who don&#39;t want to own or rent their own server. Please tell me there&#39;s some way to get someone else to host to host my content for me like literally every other microblogging platform allows.</html></oembed>
