And with 100% of nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l payments going to artists (no fees taken by tidal or @cashapp) we’ve removed publishing and collections middlemen. HUge Win! #Tidalupload is not DeMu and I don’t think they are attempting to be that. DeMu is not ready for prime time yet. While V4V apps are allowing artists like me to begin to get paid (🙌) the DeMu distribution process has no protections for music IP or licensing considerations. Once an artist distributes their music on a free and open market - anyone (ie: Netflix or Disney) can make the case that the music is free and public fair use and they would owe nothing to put it in a blockbuster movie, robbing artists of possible windfalls. All of these improvements are a HUGE step in the right direction but with 2.5 years experience around this now, I think we are still a long way off from any real solution to disrupting traditional music industry processes. Since @tidal nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m are innovating across Bitcoin I think @tidal might be a Trojan Horse to the traditional music industry who has done nothing to improve the revenue stream for indie musicians in decades.</html></oembed>
