It's a deliberate muddying of ancient (Greek) White culture, and the reason discussion flares up about it is very similar to how there were (and still are) filthy niggers defending Austin Metcalf's murderer, despite how obvious and egregious the crime was. Another aspect is the fraud. The attempts to make it look like it's being praised, when it isn't.
