(My biggest critique of Lightning at the protocol layer is that it should have been a web-spec and not have introduced p2p gossip fragility)&#xA;&#xA;If the NGO&#39;s are successful in astroturfing Bolt12 into current Bolt11 flows, it&#39;ll cause even more friction and failures, leading people to use middlemen like Square and fake L2 scams to access the network. &#xA;&#xA;That is their goal. They want people to give up the ship. Lightning dooming and shitcoinery is playing right into their hands.</html></oembed>
