A 2of2 or 3of3 is a good option for a lot of single sig users. You just have to keep your seeds with multiple backups and you don't need to worry about the configuration file that alot people allude to with multisig. Only if you have a 2of3 or 3of5, when the N of M doesn't match do you have to worry about the configuration file if you lose one of your seeds. Any multisig setup doesn't need the configuration file if you have all of the seeds used to setup the wallet. If you don't plan on executing a multisig, I want to know why not?
