I've just watched a YouTuber who thought Japan was overrated. Reasons for this are: No hostels Very expensive No rubbish bins The reason there are no rubbish bins in Japan is deeply fascinating, if you're ever at a loose end one day and want to research it, it's worth your time. Japan, BTW is one of the few unique cultures that developed outside of external influences. It is like no other country in the world.
