I've been running a Lightning Node for several years. I used to jump up and do the Bitcoin dance when the rare transaction would pass through my node. Fast forward to today and I average several hundred transactions every 24 hours. The amounts of these transactions are now in the range of everyday use. This growth is highly encouraging. Will the Lightning Network continue to grow and continue to provide a low cost means to transfer Bitcoin value? I sure hope so.
