Apparently the Coldcard entropy issue was found by "AI" and subsequently abused.

It feels like we are entering a new era.
It will offer new chances, better sw, better testing, etc, but also new risks.

As always new developments can be used for the better but will also be used for the worse.

Open source code in that respect is at larger risk right now.
I'm sure if all legacy code of banking, industrial usage, nuclear launch algorithms and so on would be open source we would be in grave danger... Not to say we are not....

I like to shovel this under the 'general' threat "more knowledge than wisdom"....
