I had always sworn off of them because people told me they were buggy, failed often, produced tons of heat, and had bad build quality. I can't attest to anything prior to the 9 Pro/Pro XL and I can't say anything long term either, but thus far yeah, I'm on cloud 9 for the most part. Everything gets out of my way when it needs to and looks good doing it. The only weird issue I'm having is that sometimes apps hang on loading, but I don't think this is a system issue if I'm being honest. Also whenever I first install apps and run them for the first time I have to close them and then reopen (force close if they don't respect the system close) - after that they behave properly from that point forward. It's weird - but I got used to it within like 60 seconds lmao.
Other than that I just loaded my trusty Nova Launcher config up on it and it was mostly off to the races after like 10 hours of installing and logging into everything.
