Imho the strongest part of bitcoins immune system is running a node and using proof of work mining. The more bitcoin is under attack, the harder mining can go.
Currently that immune system is running in overdrive and will continue to do so until the end of fiat and so far its successful. Once the world has healed, maybe bitcoin mining can even chill a bit and just monitor the situation ...just like an immune system does 🙂
