Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you're well. This morning in northern Ohio absolutely beautiful. It is sunny today, the birds are singing, the current temp is 69, and the Weather Channel says to expect a high of 74 degrees!
I made my list of things to do today, and will be working through it while my wife and kids are away. I think they're going to visit my in-laws and go to Cedar Point.
I plan to replace the thermostat in our deepfreeze. Our basement flooded and did some damage to the electrics of our deepfreeze. I didn't realize the damage had been done, and everything THAWED!!! When I realized this, I did what I could (prayed that God would be merciful and allow the freezer to be repairable, and looked for similar stories on YouTube) I came across a video of a fellow who repaired his deepfreeze by replacing a $36 part! I tested the freezer and the part he mentioned. My freezer's problem was identical to his! So, I did loose a freezer-ful of food (fruit, veggies, meat, and other food), but, praise God, I was able to source the replacement part on eBay for $36, and the freezer is expected to live!
After I get the new thermostat installed, I"ll be doing some chores in the house and in the garden.
I hope you have a great day and stay busy!
