I wasn’t expecting it, but it proved to be such a great deal and superlatively well-suited to my uses that it quickly took the top-spot.
I have a current-favorite kitchen knife, too; a black ceramic chef’s knife that’s still sharp, and cost about $12. I can tell though it won’t be my favorite if I’m obliged to try to sharpen it.
