"Women's Affairs Ministry in Gaza: Extremist Ben Gafir's Abuse of Female Prisoners in Damon Prison Represents Pinnacle of Fascism and Moral Depravity
The Ministry of Women's Affairs in the Gaza Strip condemned in the strongest terms on Sunday the blatant raid and systematic abuse perpetrated by the extremist criminal Ben Gafir against Palestinian female prisoners in the Zionist Damon prison, in a scene that reflects the pinnacle of fascism and moral depravity of the enemy.
In a statement published by the Government Media Office in the Strip and reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry said that the passing of these criminal practices without deterrent international action is a disgrace that offends human conscience and international justice.
The Ministry confirmed, based on official statistics from the Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, that approximately 99 female prisoners are suffering harsh conditions in detention centers. This includes about 88 female prisoners in Damon Prison (among them minors, mothers, students, medical personnel, and administrative detainees), in addition to dozens of female detainees in interrogation, isolation, and solitary confinement centers, who are facing enforced disappearance from the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the extremist Zionist Ben-Gvir stormed the female prisoners' cells inside Damon Prison, threatening them and boasting on camera about the policies of abuse against them."
