In my case, the host had already seen and acknowledged my post. But when they finalized the winners, my entry was suddenly gone. 🥺
Good thing the host was such a kind person. Someone who genuinely cared, judged fairly, and was easy to talk to.

following up on the concern i raised recently about my entries going unnoticed, one of the campaign hosts i participated in, PurpleHeart (npub19zq…5ecm) actually reached out to me personally to ask if i had submitted an entry to her campaign. i said yes. she said she never saw it on her end.
she asked for a screenshot as proof of my participation. i had one, thankfully. and even though the campaign had already closed by then, she still rewarded me for it. didn't have to. but she did.
so first, a genuine thank you to PurpleHeart (npub19zq…5ecm) for going out of her way to make sure i wasn't overlooked. that kind of integrity as a host means everything, especially when the situation was completely out of both our hands. you didn't have to follow up, you didn't have to reward me after closing, but you did. and that says a lot about the kind of host and person you are. 💜
now the awareness part, this confirmed something i was already worried about. posts can apparently disappear due to a bug or glitch on the platform. my entry was posted, people liked and commented on it, and yet it vanished from the host's view entirely. this is real and it's happening.
if you've ever felt like your entry went unnoticed despite following all the instructions, this might be why. always keep a screenshot of your submissions. always. it saved me today.
i hope this gets looked into and fixed soon. we put real effort into these campaigns and no one should lose their reward to a technical glitch they had no control over. 🙏🌱
