People claim native will never win because the "web" is great as a distribution platform, that it is very good to be able to send people to a URL and have your app loaded there in a sandbox without they having to install anything.
Has anyone thought about making a new type of browser, one that doesn't primarily run legacy HTML/CSS/JS but just wasm files from a URL (or potentially from Blossom natively) and writes to the screen directly?
Yes, some people have thought about that, but no one has done it yet. Please.
