I genuinely hate to use a term like “fear-mongering” but I honestly think rhetoric like that is why they won’t be implemented. Everything is digitized but all of a sudden a digital ID shouldn’t exist? I don’t believe they’re inherently bad, they just have to be implemented properly with appropriate privacy. People start bitching saying it’s authoritarian as if we don’t have big government and the most retarded regulations for every little thing anyway. New England is constantly contradictory. Just my take
