Quite the same here in Winnipeg - we had nazis in the 90s, they made the local tabloids, but by the time I got my first punk band together in 1999, they were highly unwelcome at shows and in the streets.
Then only fifteen-odd years later, it's 2016, and some of the punk kids who actually *did* the street fighting (I am a wimp, did not street fight, but friends of mine did), they're doing the "I'm not gonna call my neighbours nazis! Stop being a bully to alternate viewpoints!"
But yah, I think about some of TG's stuff from the 70s, Zykkon B Zombie and such, and the penchant among UK punks to put swastikas on everything. Understandable, but also not cool.
