Free-market economic thought and practice, which consist of people’s voluntary interactions and relationships, are the ultimate solution to all the world’s problems. Every voting day, I too take part in an act of choice. This choice of mine is entirely voluntary, peaceful and mutual, in such a way that it does not infringe upon anyone’s rights as a result of a transfer of power or the alleged necessity and legitimacy of total control. But how? I engage in an exchange within the marketplace, the only form of democracy that functions without a hitch; in other words, I choose to engage in a peaceful exchange of value without taking away the rights of others. These are the only votes or choices that should be counted and respected.
