there are so many Castopod feeds that are fetched fine from PI though (for example this one: https://api.podcastindex.org/dashboard?q=5971925)
Our problem child https://api.podcastindex.org/dashboard?q=7896621 was marked as dead this morning, and I reset and rescanned, same thing, 415.
Podcaster swears up and down there is no WAF in play here (or that it's not blocking PI), and that it works in AP and Spotify.
FWIW I suspect an overeager WAF, but it would be nice to know for sure.
