I'm shocked every time I visit a state run A&E emergency room (with a pal). An hour wait so far. Chairs are hard metal straight from the commie gulag. Old dudes nose is bleeding all over the floor while he wife has to do the bureaucracy with the admin before he's seen. Queue almost out the door. It's medium sized French town in the middle of the afternoon. One of the most taxed countries in the world. I paid 5 digits last year just in social security taxes. I was hoping to have a larger stack before moving but times up.
