it doesn’t give a shit what you say your interests are, it only cares about the interests you pursue with your actions.

if you aren’t running a node, you have delegated your interest to those who do.

run whatever node you think best serves your interests, try to convince other why your preferences serve their interests, participate in building consensus, and be ok that consensus might not agree with you.

and that’s ok.
Satoshi’s consensus is the best chance humans have at figuring out collective wisdom.
