Upgrading from singlesig toa 2of2 multisig makes a lot of sense.
1 seed could be derived from a device you purchase, like foundation or Trezor.
1 seed could be derived from your own physical non digital entropy like the physical BIP39 word list.
If you buy a seedsigner they give you the ability to roll 100 dice or use their camera to generate your own physical entropy.
Essentially giving you two sets of 24 words, with each set having its own unique entropy & randomness during creation.
You can then store this as you did your single sig setup, for example in a safety deposit box.
