Well I have good news for you. Catholics and Orthodox don't believe that orthodoxy in tradition makes us worthy to stand before God. We do what we do out of obedience: because Jesus told us to, and he entrusted real authority to his followers that has been passed down to today.
Perhaps you don't understand precisely what you are protesting, which begs the question: why are you in protest?
