My post doesn't argue that Quantum is a threat to Bitcoin, it argues that it is largely irrelevant whether Quantum can be engineered to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be broadly useful because the incentives for Quantum FUD line up almost too perfectly.
If they have a 100+ page whitepaper coming, then this changes everything and Google, Microsoft, IBM, xAI, DARPA and the other government agencies will have to pack it up.
Either way, I'm happy to be wrong on this. Time will tell.
