📣 BDK Wallet 3.0 was released two weeks ago but forgot to announce it, so here you go!
This release introduces major API changes including persistent UTXO locking, structured wallet events, and adopts NetworkKind throughout the codebase for improved network handling.
It also adds support for Caravan wallet format import/export and includes a special migration utility for SQLite databases existing prior to version 1.0. Documentation and test coverage have been expanded, along with several quality of life improvements.
Note: This release includes new persisted data for tracking UTXO lock statuses. The change is backwards compatible if you use the standard sqlite datastore. But if you've build a custom Wallet datastore you'll need to update your code to support the new data.
