James Dobson was the assistant to Paul Popenoe & it greatly influenced his later teachings which scarred my childhood & early adulthood.
Mother was a huge Dobson fan. For 15 years after no contact in 2000, she sent me Dobson's books, signed me up for some letter club thing he had going on, pamphlets showed up at my door. It was harassment.
Between him & Pat Robertson, my childhood was a nightmare because my mom, who was already spiteful, got sucked into their teachings.
Glad he's gone.
