The feets did get wets, but she was very brave about it.
However! At one point she stumbled, then stuck her back leg out like she'd broken it, while staring at me pleadingly.
I assumed broken glass, or a sharp stick, and inspected the poor broken foot.
Pine needle. Just the one.
