So, I *almost* had a meltdown today. I had misplaced my favorite comfy black velvet tunic that I've had since the 1990s. I managed to communicate my distress to hubby clearly, to which he replied, "It'll show up." Of course, things don't always show up, but I thanked him, and he said he'd keep an eye out for it. Turns out I had accidentally packed it up with a bunch of clothes I was getting ready to store in the attic. Yay! And yeah, I've tried to find equally comfy velvet tunics, but they aren't as comfy as my old ones (I have a maroon one that's almost completely worn out). There's something about the brand (Michael Carrie) and the way the seams were put together that agree with my tactile issues. Keeping an eye out for more *vintage* clothes from that brand. Luckily, I've had better luck finding comfy t-shirts that I can tolerate, but it's not the same as my old "friend".
