I'm not overtly anal about it, luckily. But given my nature, yoloing it is pretty safe. I'll habitually keep the parts and screws organized without really having to think about it.
Now keeping things organized when all the stuff is put away is a bit more hairy, but mostly ok since I'm the only one touching it. Younger me did good setting a foundation for how things are organized that mostly survived my last move.
