I don't remember who I heard say this, but when pressed by an opponent on some clear teaching of Scripture, someone said, "Well, I'm afraid you'll have to take that one up with the Author." I probably enjoy saying that too much sometimes--depending on the snark-quotient of the opponent... :grimace:
