It seems to be about the number required to follow to yield 50-100 active posters that share your philosophy and interests. It’d be cool if we could regularly prune our follow list based on “days since last post”.

What is the purpose of following 500 people? Genuine question because that has always puzzled me, there is no possible way to keep up with that many people. You could argue that they don’t all post daily but if they’re not posting regularly what’s the point of following them? #asknostr
