In short, Marxism is a religion that attempts to awaken the so-called oppressed so that they will rise up in a revolution and destroy the current society so that a more "perfect" communist society can arise.
In ordet to create this "perfect" communist society, Marxist want to seize control of the production of mankind. This means they want to seize control of what humans are brought up to think and believe.

"Top-down, bottom-up, inside-out" approach.
Top-down: Indoctrinate and brainwash through corporations and government institutions.
Bottom-up: Indoctrinate and brainwash children and adults through grass roots efforts. Educational institutions, both public and private appear to be their major focus.
Inside-out: Indoctrinate and brainwash people to change their core beliefs, especially through religious institutions.
