Also I wish everyone's response to moving into a house with mature trees in the garden didn't seem to be to immediately hack them all down. Quite apart from the fact they're beautiful and good for wildlife they keep the place cooler in heatwaves. If people don't want the maintenance I wish they'd just buy an apartment instead
