One branch isn't supposed to be in control of another. I don't see why the Executive should care about the Legislative, especially when they've both been out of alignment from their intended purpose.

The agencies of the Executive were meant for internal operations, not the affairs of the people.

The Legislative wasn't intended to be a full-time job, and certainly not to be focused on funding the unlawful Executive agencies. Not to mention, whoring for corporations.

The whole point of the "balances of power" is that they would be in a bit of opposition to each other. The masses ignored that, let them team up, and focus on screwing the people.

The fact that the US has imbedded private political parties in the system is a transgression that few recognize. The system should be ignoring parties, not using them as part of the structure.
