Patio update. I hate to say but after measuring again I had to disassemble the wall and rebuild. I was about 1.5” low from where I needed it so I packed more gravel base underneath to raise it.

Good side of that was I was able to focus more on getting everything as square and level as possible. You think, ah a degree off here or there, oh well. Then you get another layer up and start placing pavers that no longer interlock. It’s got to be perfect or darn close.

Back filled with gravel and cemented the wall in place with adhesive. Added a drain in the low point that goes under another wall below our deck just incase we have water rolling back towards the house. It will hit the drain and drain tile which I’ll line with gravel and be carried away from the foundation.

Storms are coming so my wife is heading to grab more materials while I clean up and start again tomorrow.
