Multi vendor refers to hardware wallet providers. Choosing only one is what contributed to many coldcard users loosing their funds. Sparrow is indeed available. In fact CASA recommends sparrow for sovereign recovery, accessing your stash outside of CASA. But having tgem hold one key and facilitating inheritance is a real plus to me.
